About Reciplease

Our webapp, Reciplease, suggests recipes people can make based on the ingredients they have at home. We wanted to create this webapp because we, as well as many others, may struggle with deciding on what to cook. Not only is buying groceries more affordable than going out to eat, it also tends to be healthier. Our goal is to reduce food waste and spread unique cultures through the different types of recipes.

About The Creators

We are a group of high school girls who are currently attending a Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program hosted at Electronic Arts. Girls Who Code is a national non-profit organization that is dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology. It is hosted at several technology companies across the USA. During this 7 week program, we learned how to code in several languages, such as Scratch, Python, C++, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. We also met with several EA employees and interns who shared their experiences and gave advice to us about the tech industry.
